I've been slow to report that Ruby is getting two new teeth on the top. She's crazy about clicking them together: chomp chomp chomp.
As we whiz toward her first birthday, I'm amazed by all the stuff she can do: she can say "da da" and "ma ma" and seems to be working on "kitty" so she can address her fuzzy brother, Roosevelt.
She can shove other kids out of the way and grab their toys.
She can munch down large volumes of graham crackers, veggie burgers, sweet potatoes and fruit without any assistance, then clap her hands together to ask for "more."
She can wave "bye bye," dance and play peek-a-boo.
Her newest trick is standing alone, and we think she'll take her first steps any day.
